Hi, I’m Kelsey!
If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, let me take a moment to officially introduce myself!
I have lived in Lakeshore for over 20 years and owe every ounce of my success to the family, friends and community that have raised me. It has truly been an honour to serve on council for these past 4 years and it has not escaped me how necessary it is to continue learning, growing and listening to make the best decisions for our evolving municipality.
The following is the quote I live by. If you watch closely enough during our moment of reflection at every meeting, you can probably catch a glimpse of me saying it.
Knowledge and experience are useless if not applied to the benefit of one’s community and one’s fellow person.

Workforce WindsorEssex
I have been with Workforce WindsorEssex since November 2018 and have had the great pleasure of working on several incredible projects. My job helps me stay on top of labour market and economic trends in the region, while understanding how our community is changing through migration and immigration.
In a nutshell, Workforce WindsorEssex helps people find jobs and services, and helps employers and service providers support a strong current and future workforce.
A great deal of my work centers around bringing newcomers and service providers together to improve settlement systems and services. Beyond this, I have had the opportunity to work in a consulting capacity to develop recommendations to improve recreation supports, employment services and youth programming.
I’ve held a few jobs since I was a young teenager, many of which were in Lakeshore! If I look familiar, you might be thinking of my early days at Foodland, Twigg’s or Starbucks.
Or you may remember me as co-owner of the West Beach Snack Shack, where my sister and I operated the concession for 4 years!
